Argentina Nieves

Argentina (Tina, Oma, Grandma) was born in Isabela Puerto Rico. She enjoyed the challenges of life. Although she was not a computer guru, she took a computer course numerous years ago and taught herself how to navigate the web. She enjoyed the challenges of life. She used to say: “I went to the best university there is, that is the university of life, where you fall and you have to get up”. Very upbeat at all times. Always very independent and very thoughtful as well. She loved Latin music from the 80’s. She loved Christmas. She was married at the age of 19 and had 2 sons. The family grew. She had 5 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. She was loved and respected by everyone who knew her. In her late years she worked as a Volunteer for the Veterans Administration for 20 Years (25,000 Volunteered hours). She enjoyed helping all the Veterans.

Her passion was learning even at her age. She enjoyed her Grandchildren and her great Grandchildren. She enjoyed hearing and talking about the success of her children and her grandchildren. She will always be missed by all her family and friends.

Surviving Family Members, Sons Carlos and Mark, Margaret and Rocio. Grandchildren, JC, Sandra Desiree, Patrick, Manuela. 4 Greatgrandchildren, Jude, Katalia, Katalea, Romeo. Sisters Blanca and Carmen.
