Nelson, Barbara D. 89 of Tampa, joined her husband, Obie Nelson, in heaven on Saturday, July 20, 2024. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her son, James Nelson; her daughters, Barbara Martinez, and Deborah Rebello; three grandchildren, Thomas Martinez, Jody Martinez, and Jordan Rebello; two great-grandchildren, Isabella Martinez, and Kyler Martinez.
The family will receive friends from 9:00-11:00AM Friday, July 26th, at Blount & Curry Funeral Home, 605 S. Macdill Ave. Tampa, FL, 33609. A graveside service will be held at 12:30PM at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell following the memorial at Blount & Curry Funeral Home.
