Berice Ann Guile, 79, passed on February 11, 2024 after being in pain for years and caring for her husband of 61 years, John Guile, who became ill. She was as sharp as a tack until the very end and made sure to let her daughters know to take care of their dad before she passed.
Berice, known as “B” to many, was born in Leicester, England to parents Gladys and Horace Taylor on February 29, 1944. She was the last of three children to pass, her brothers Neville and Norman Taylor pre deceased her.
Berice met her husband, John Guile, in England who at the time was serving in the Air Force and stationed there. They were married on June 11, 1962 in the city of Leicester. Berice lived the life of a military spouse and has two surviving daughters, Kerry Barbon and Tracy Guile. She also has three surviving grandchildren, Taylor, Nicole and Jessica Barbon.
Berice was the best and most caring mom and nanny any child/grandchild could ever ask for as well as a loving and supportive wife to her husband until the very end of her life. She was known as the “Rock” in her family, despite her small stature and always made sure that all her loved ones were taken care of.
She is missed immensely by those who love her and memories of her love and devotion are carried on in the hearts of those loved ones left behind.
