Bertha Solomon

Solomon, Bertha, 90, passed away on Oct. 16, 2016. She was born in Tampa, FL. She retired from the School District of Hillsborough County as a Lunch Aide, which she loved working with children. Bertha was a loving, caring, passionate and devoted wife, mother, grandma & great grandma. Everyone that had the pleasure of meeting Bertha instantly fell in love with her beautiful and giving personality. She was artistic, a great baker and very talented with crafts. Her favorite things were her bingo nights and Christmas. She and her husband, Isaac, shared a beautiful love story marriage that lasted for 72 years. Bertha was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac & son Frank Solomon & son in law Amado Capaz. She leaves behind her children; Sandra Solomon-Capaz, Mark (Dolly) Solomon & Lenny (Bonnie) Solomon; Grandchildren, Desi (Grenna) Capaz, Jason (Deanna) Capaz, Brandi (Sean) DeDiego, Anna ( Travis) Barlowe, Angel Solomon, Julian Solomon & Nicholas Solomon; Great Grandchildren Taylor, Janae, Jason Jr., Jaila, Ava, Evan, Deja & Jayden; Brother John (Bernadette) Gonzalez & daughter-in-law Annie Solomon. Her family & friends will gather to honor her life on Friday Oct. 21, 2016 from 5-8 at Gonzalez Funeral Home 7209 N. Dale Mabry Hwy. Tampa, FL 33614.
