Bessie was a co worker of mine at Mabry and she was my sons 2nd grade teacher. She was one of his favorites! She was always a positive and caring person and a great teacher!

Our family was absolutely blessed that Mrs. Willis taught one of our sons for second grade back in 2002.  As a family, we remember and talk about Mrs. Willis as one of the top teachers ever in our combined family experiences. Mrs. Willis gently gave me advice as a young mom and had the very unique ability to figure out what motivated each student individually. She is in our thoughts and prayers to your family. 

Mrs.  Willis was a gifted, wonderful teacher and person.   One of our sons was fortunate enough to have her as a second grade teacher.  Mrs. Willis had a wonderful smile, was so kind and a great role model for the students.  The world needs more people like Mrs. Willis.  

I worked with Bessie at Mabry for several years. She was always so kind to me by giving me a beautiful smile, to tell me a joke or even share her hot sauce with me. I admired her spirit. I especially loved watching her care for Charlize in her classroom after school. Bessie loved her family.

Your Mother was a devoted teacher and she touched so many lives at Dale Mabry Elementary.  We spent several years on the faculty of Dale Mabry.  She was a dear friend.  We shared many  good times teaching back in those days.  You will be missed. All of  Your family  has a Special Place in my heart. Until we meet again. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.
