Candido Prudencio Garcia

Candido was born in Cuba to Candido and Zoraida Rosa Garcia on 04/28/1933. He went to school in Pinar Del Rio, Cuba, En La Escuela de Commercio. He worked as a residential painter in the U.S. and as an accountant in Cuba. He was a great family man, who loved to watch his grandsons play sports and watch his granddaughters dance, cheer, and play softball. His passion for playing percussion instruments was known to all who knew and loved him.

Candido is preceded in death by his father Candido Garcia and his mother Zoraida Rosa Garcia.

Candido is survived by his partner in life Digna Marlene Alvarado, his children: Gustavo and spouse Meri Garcia, Rosa Garcia, Martha and spouse Frank Lugo, Licet and spouse Andrew Geneux. His sisters: Noelia Garcia Fernandez, Elsa Marina Perez and Nancy Garcia Castellano. His grandchildren: Janelle Agnes, Michael Garcia, Jonothan Villalta, Jocellyn Ciluffo, Krista Garcia, Joseph Villalta, Austyn Mueller and Addison Mueller. He also was blessed with two bonus grandchildren Joshua and Jade Geneux and his 7 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be at 6:00pm on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at Gonzalez Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 6:30pm on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at Gonzalez Funeral Home.
