Carl was the cherished son of Charles Williams and Coretha Mcknight, both of whom predeceased him, along with his brother, Batman Natue Alamin Rushadan, and sister, Gloria Thomas. He is survived by his devoted wife, Colleen Mcknight, with whom he shared a beautiful marriage of 36 years since they wed on February 9, 1990, in Tampa. Together, they built a life filled with love and happiness, nurturing a family that would become his greatest pride.
Carl was the proud father of four children: Levantria Hall, Andrea Caines, Lashawn Mcknight, and Carla Mcknight. Each of them carries forward his legacy of compassion and strength. He was also blessed with seven adoring grandchildren: Anaya Hall, Jonathan Miller, Dylan Caines, Ambrielle Miller, Donovan Caines, Arianna Rich, and Drew Caines, who brought immense joy and laughter into his life.
Carl is also survived by his loving sisters, Charlise Mcknight and Shauna Perry; his extended family of nieces, nephews, and many close friends who were touched by his warmth and generosity.
A graduate of Barringer High School in 1976, Carl's journey led him to a fulfilling career with the City of Tampa, where he dedicated 25 years as a service attendant. His work was marked by integrity and commitment, earning respect and admiration from his colleagues and community.
Beyond his professional life, Carl was a man of diverse interests and passions. A lover of Sci-Fi, he often found joy in exploring new worlds through books and films. His strategic mind shone in games of chess and checkers, and he remained an avid fan of boxing and karate throughout his life. Carl also had a creative spirit, which he expressed through the art of videography, capturing moments that he treasured with those he loved.
