Carlos J. Cuervo

Carlos Jose Cuervo, 63, of Tampa Florida passed away peacefully, December 25, 2016 with his family by his side. Carlos was born in Tampa Florida to the late Charles M. Cuervo and Aida R. Cuervo. He was a 1971 graduate of Jesuit High School and also was a graduate of Spring Hill College. Carlos was the CEO of Nebraska Printing and Lithography Inc. which he successfully led for more than 20 years. His grandfather, Charles Cuervo Sr., established the family business in 1929. Carlos is survived by his wife of 34 years Patricia N. Cuervo, his daughter Lauren N Cuervo of New York City and his sister Alma E. Cuervo of New York City. In addition to his immediate family, Carlos is survived by his niece Samantha Newhaller, and nephew, Leland Newhaller; his Cousin Gonzalo Garcia and wife LeAnn Garcia; Cousin Norma Wright and husband Joe Wright; brother and sister-in-law, Daniel Newhaller & Ashley Newhaller; and many other cousins and dear friends. He was a loving father and husband who loved nothing more than spending a day on his boat. Honorary Pallbearers: Leo Diaz, Frank de la Grana, Danny Harlow, John Lippelman, Joe Lopez & John Thomas. A visitation will take place at Blount and Curry Funeral Home, 605 S MacDill Ave, Tampa, FL 33609 on Friday December 30, 2016 at 10:30a.m. Service to follow at 11:30.
