You always made her smile and laugh--she picked the perfect man for the job. Life is too short.   May you Rest In Power my Brother.

Carlos was a very kind man to me. Always had a smile in his face. But how he stepped up and helped my Sister raise her family left a lasting impression on me. They were married many years, she was very happy with him.  That was #1 with me, how he treated her.  Always greatful for that.  R.I.P. Carlos, que Dios te bendiga eternamente 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

I can’t add anything that hasn’t already been said, because Carlos was the type of man, the type of good that everyone who encountered him seemed to recognize. I never saw him without a smile, and even when he was quiet, his good vibes radiated throughout the room. I really wish I’d had more time to build more memories with Carlos in this lifetime, but I’m grateful to have known him and have gotten the chance to see how happy he made our family. We’ll miss you Carlos, but we know you’re still with us, just in another way. 

Siempre te recordaremos como el hermano que sonreía con mirarte, serás mi hermano eternamente te adelantaste pero fue voluntad divina, sé que estás en paz y sin enfermedad alguna Dios te llevo a su lado primero pero tengo fe en que nos volveremos a ver. Se que toda tu familia está orgullosa de ti y siempre vivirás en nosotros extrañare tus llamadas y tus chistes gracias por siempre a pesar de ser más pequeño no me abandonaste siempre te ocupabas de llamarme y conversábamos como hermanos. Hasta luego y goza del paraíso prometido te amo y a todos mis demás hermanos por igual.

Carlitos tú eres el ejemplo de que no hay que tener la misma sangre para amar incondicional, tú amaste a tus hijos por igual, a tus nietos, a tu esposa a todo tu familia porque siempre tuviste el concepto de que la familia es lo más importante, con un corazón enorme quitándote lo tuyo para darle a los demás, yo quisiera Carlitos algún día tener ese corazón tan grande que tienes, tengo mucho que aprender de ti. Te voy a extrañar los chistes por WhatsApp que me hacían reír, voy a extrañar como te mortificaba y te decía que te iba a poner cámaras en el camión,  pero yo se que vas a estar pendiente de todos nosotros y que nos vas a cuidar porque así eres tú protector. Te quiero y te aprecio mucho padre y que Dios te bendiga siempre 

Takes a real man to raise three children that were not biologically his. Add to that another mouth to feed since I was always at the house. This man welcomed me as another son. He would gladly lay down his life for anyone he loved. He never asked for anything but simply wanted to just spend time with you. He will be dearly missed and never forgotten.

My favorite memory of grandpa Carlos was when he was showing me and Elena his truck and we got to ride in his truck.❤️ I miss him so much we would go out to eat and go to baseball games.❤️ I wish we could have made more memories together grandpa❤️ Thankyou for everything you did for us!! We love you..

       Carlos & I shared many memories. The one I like most is when we went to eat lunch (just he and I) at a Colombian bar in Tampa, FL. We shared memories and experiences while bonding over lunch as the brothers we truly were.  He saw to it to “take me under his wing” when I moved to Florida. He wanted to make sure that I was ok while living there. He always cracked jokes that were actually funny and made me laugh. The guy had such a Great heart. THAT is the overriding trait of his that I’ll remember most - his heart! You couldn’t ask for a better friend either. He was so dedicated & steadfast a friend. Loyal, trustworthy and giving. Carlos so dearly Loved his salsa music. I remember me, him and Taurih went to that park in Tampa to play basketball. Carlos kept laughing and smiling as we played. So, so many good memories. I’ll miss those times that he’d call me (to reconnect and “catch up” on life)  while he was on the road driving his truck all over the country.  Miss you Los! Difficult to say goodbye. I refuse to say farewell and will more appropriately  state that ………”Carlos, I’m trying to do the best I can while I’m still down here,  so that we can meet up again. This time ……….in Heaven”. 🙏🏻

Cuñao, como te vamos a extrañar 😭 Esa sonrisa unica, esa voz ronca contandome otro chiste 🤣 tenias ese don de tranquilizar a uno con ellos.  Ahora descansa en paz junto a Mami, Norma, Hubert y demas familia. Hasta que nos volvamos a ver 💖

Carlos was a “One of a kind” human being! A man who loved to be around his/our family, loved to see people laughing and enjoying each other’s company. A loyal, caring man who never gave up on “his people” and if he loved you; he was there for you no matter what.  He was  my brother-in-law, but honestly, he was more a Big Brother to me. I thank God that he blessed our family with Carlos for so many years! Rest In Peace Carlos……you will be missed and never forgotten! We love you! Scott, Margie, Brandon and Isa
