87, of Tampa, died Wednesday, April 29, 2015. A native of Tampa he graduated from Hillsborough High School class of 1945, The Florida State University class of 1949 and Temple University class of 1953. He was a member of many medical organizations and a staunch supporter of the Florida State University. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Myrna and son Dwight. He is survived by his daughter, Jean Marie “Jinkey” Barker; son, Wayne; companion, Marie Warner; daughters-in-law, Linda and Gail; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. A visitation will be held from 6-8pm on Monday, May 4th at Blount and Curry MacDill, 605 S. MacDill Ave. where a service will be held at 10am on Tuesday, May 5th. Entombment will follow at Myrtle Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to The Springs, PO Box 5147, Tampa, FL 33675.
