Celsa Hernandez

Celsa Hernandez, 80, passed away on April 8, 2017. Celsa Hernandez was born in Jayuya, Puerto Rico on October 13, 1936. Her mother was Ursula Pantoja and her father was Jose Hernandez. Her siblings are: Miriam, Carmen(deceased), Hilda, Monserate(deceased), Miguel(deceased),Antonio(deceased), Humberto(deceased),Angel Luis(deceased).God blessed Celsa with 10 children. They are:Rosalina, Carmen Iris, Jose Ramon, Jesus Antonio,Noemi, Benjamin, Gladys, Ruth, Efrain,Elizabeth(deceased). She fell in love with Benjamin Marquez in 1963 and in 1973 they had an encounter with our Lord Jesus Christ. Celsa lived her life dedicated to serving God. She was an exemplary woman, prayer warrior. She instilled in her children and family the importance of being faithful to God and having a sacred relationship with Him. She was a two time cancer survivor. Although she suffered from different ailments for many years, she never stopped thanking God for her life, her children, and for the salvation she found thru Jesus Christ. She was an inspiration to all who knew her.

Celsa, your family and friends don’t say goodbye but rather See You Later cause we will see you in heaven.

A visitation will take place on Saturday, April 15, 2017 from 10:30AM to 2:30PM at Gonzalez Funeral Home with a funeral service to take place during the visitation. Burial will follow at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park in Tampa, FL. Arrangements under the direction of Gonzalez Funeral Home, Tampa, FL.
