Charles Randy Beardsley

Randy was a man of many talents and a variety of interests. He owned his own photography business. His passions were table tennis and tennis. Randy visited Wimbledon to watch the Championships at least 25 times since 1985 and even traveled there as recently as 2024. He never missed watching the Grand Slam tennis tournaments, especially Wimbledon.

In addition to racquet sports, Randy was an avid Gators fan. Randy had fun tailgating with his family before attending Gators and Bucs games. He also loved billiards, bowling, fishing and boating in his Hewes boat. He also enjoyed going to and photographing historic rock concerts. Randy had a love for the military and was particularlly interested in pilots, airplanes and military history.

Randy is survived by his sister Judy (Ken) Jones of Tampa and his brother Rick (Debbie) Beardsley of Tampa. He is also survived by his niece Jennifer Rocha and his nephew Wesley Jones.

A visitation for Randy will be held Tuesday, September 9, 2025, from 10:00am to 11:00am at Blount & Curry Life Event Center, 605 S MacDill Ave, Tampa, FL 33609, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 11:00am. Guests attending the funeral services are invited by the family to enjoy food and drinks from 12:00 to 2:00pm at Palma Ceia Country Club in the Palma Ceia Lounge room. Randy will be laid to rest with a private service at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park.
