Charles Benito

BENITO, Charles, 85, born on November 09, 1926 and passed away on August 21, 2012, with his wife and daughters at his side. A loving husband and soul mate to his wife of 65 yrs. Charlie's love for his family had no boundaries. His generosity and compassion for others was neverending. His passion for fishing was passed on to his daughters, son-in-laws, grandchildren and great-grand-children. We will always think of him and cherish our time with him at the beach. Those were great times "Pop" thanks to you. He was a hard working, honest man who was always there for his friends and family. He retired from Continental Can Co. after 26 years and enjoyed his retirement years with his family. Never short on words, he could always put a smile on anyone's face with his stories. Charlie is survived by his wife, Mary; daughters Susan Smith and Kathy Broaddus; sons-in-law, David Smith and Kerry Broaddus; grandchildren, Jason Almerico and Dallas Broaddus; great grandchildren, Gianni and Malio Almerico and his brother, Manuel Benito.
