Colin was the kind of neighbor that ALWAYS said hello and ALWAYS took just a bit longer than everyone else to completely stop his day and ask, “How are you Mr Chase?” and waited there frozen every time until he got a full accounting. He truly wanted to know. He truly cared.

He saw us working hard landscaping one day from across the street ... so he grabbed a shovel and spent the entire hot summer afternoon sweating in the dirt helping us plant our front landscaping, stopped only by the sunset ... just because.

I will miss the sounds of fun and thunder as his car would drive by.

I will miss having such a great neighbor and friend.

Colin was one of my first friends at Jesuit. I’ll always remember the fun times when he drove me to and from hockey practice . I was fortunate to have seen him less than a year ago and even then he was the same good hearted young guy I first met. As a teammate on the ice he always stood up for me and protected his team, no matter how many penalty minutes he might get. I’ll miss him dearly as so will many others . Take care buddy.
Love,
Roberto

Dearest Tim, Barb, and family,
Such a lovely and heartwrenching memory collage that was so painfully put together for your adored son, brother, family member, and friend. Somehow the music that was chosen captures so much beauty, yet sadness bestowed on the loss of Colin. All the photos showed a loving soul, and close family. Words simply are never enough. My heart goes out to you, and my tears flow for you. May God's arms be wrapped around you.

Joe and my sincerest condolences,
Sheila

Barb, Tim & Gabrielle - Eric and I send our love and condolences. I have great memories of all of the 'boys' hanging out at our home in South Tampa. I was so humbled when he asked me to be his Confirmation sponsor. He was a wonderful young man and we share deeply in your sorrow. Godspeed Colin and may angels of peace and comfort flock to your mom, dad, sister and brothers.

I liked Colin from the first moment I saw him. His smile was infectious and he was ALWAYS in a great mood. I am truly saddened by the loss of such a beautiful person. I will always remember him telling me every day what his mom packed him for lunch (especially the purple carrots). He was truly a kind, gentle, funny and loving soul. Praying for comfort and understanding for family and friends as I know he is in a much better place.
