Consuelo was born November 9th, 1934 in Tampa. She was ninety when she passed July 31, 2025. She was the beloved daughter of Avelino and Isabel Gonzalez. She was pre-deceased by her husband Ronald Pike. She is survived by her three children Tania Pike, Robin Warekois, and Derek Pike. Consuelo leaves behind two grandchildren, Ben Warekois and Jennifer Martinez, son in law Donald Hart, daughter in law Patricia Detmer, and two great grandchildren.
Born and raised in Ybor City, Consuelo was a long-time resident of Tampa, and Anna Maria. Throughout her life, she enjoyed seeing the world as an Air Force wife, teacher, and retiree. She was a career high school and junior high educator teaching the subjects of English and Spanish. In retirement, she pursued her interest in the arts and education as a member of the Anna Maria Island Players Off Stage Ladies, Spanish teacher of OLLI-USF Senior Education, and Ybor city museum volunteer.
