Cynthia S. Watkins, 77, of Tampa, Florida passed away at her home shared with family on February 17, 2026. She persisted bravely with a COPD diagnosis, living a full life and standing strong in the face of her illness for nearly 22 years.
Cynthia was born January 26th, 1949 in Detroit, MI and has resided in Tampa since 1990. She was a joyous, nurturing Grandmother and Mother, devoted wife and dear friend to many on her journey through this lifetime. She will be remembered for her quick sense of humor and warmhearted love.
Cynthia is survived by her husband, Jonnie; her daughters, Dawn and Tiffany; her grandchildren, Robert, Andrea, Danielle, Julian, Alina, Bianca, Gabriel and Xavier; and her great-grandchildren, Antonio, Jenalisa, Taylor, Timothy and Sophia- all of whom were impacted by the inspiring way she loved and lived her life. Our sweet Cynthia touched the hearts of so many and will be greatly missed.
