Daisy Carbonell Rocamora

Daisy Carbonell Rocamora, 87, passed away on July 19, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Daisy was born in Havana, Cuba in 1937. She resided in Tampa most of her entire life, with her early years in Ybor City. She will now be reunited in Heaven with her father Carlos, mother Isabel, and brothers Hector and Rubuen. She leaves behind a brother George (Sonja), sons Rocky and Tony, daughter Roxanne, her grandchildren (who she adored) Nicole (Jason), Rocky (Jenna), Lauren Rocamora, Desarie (Sam) and Albert (Tico) and Anthony Rocamora Jr, seven great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and her godson and nephew, Tico Carbonell. Daisy was employed as a hairdresser most of her adult life, but often worked two or three jobs to provide for her children. She was a friend to all she met. She enjoyed being around her grandchildren often to share her wisdom and knowledge with them. She adored them all. Words can’t express how much she will be missed. She wanted to thank the entire staff of Senior Point ALF for taking such good care of her. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
