

Daryl Youngblood was born in Tampa, FL on December 26th, 1971. He was a sweet, kind, quiet, and intelligent child. He grew up and LOVED GOD, FAMILY, and all sports. He was very athletic and talented. Daryl was an eccentric person; his brother Kent said, “his personality was like a mad scientist!” Daryl was a perfectionist, and had extremely good organization skills. He was saved and Baptized at age 11. He was a Florida State Motocross Champion for many years. He earned a Factory Ride from Yamaha. He was the 1rst rider in Florida to ever be sponsored by Oakley. He won many races and captured two National Titles. In 1988 he was ranked top 15 in the world. Daryl had some very serious injuries; he fractured his knee and had to have two screws put in it; he broke his femur and had a steel rod in it; he broke his neck and had titanium in his vertebra. These injures slowed his success down. Daryl became a paid instructor and taught Motocross schools. He loved the Bible, Jesus Christ. His favorite teacher was Billy Grahm and Charles Stanley’ he listened to them and read their books. He supported his twin brother in all his dark times and loved him deeply, and his twin loved him deeply and unconditional; you could not have a better brother then Daryl. Daryl and his parents loved each other deeply, if Dad said something it was the law. He was proud of his parents Christian lifestyle and hard work. His mom and dad supported him in all his dark times. Daryl also loved his grandmother and grandfather; along with his younger brother Kent and his older brother Kirk. Daryl was proud of his brother Kent for his baseball success and his graduating from Citadel. He was proud of Kent for proposing to Debbie and told his Dad that she was the one for Kent. He was so proud of Kirk for his National Titles and finding Ronda and straightening his life out. He also enjoyed Kirk’s artwork. Daryl was proud of his son Anthony for graduating high school and living a clean life. He was so happy that Anthony started practicing and racing motocross. Daryl was proud of his nephew Bailey for competing in the Golf World and someday when Bay went onto the PGA Tour he said he wanted to Caddie for him, Bay said, “that would be cool ” . Daryl was a solid, loyal, and honorable man. Daryl was a loyal friend, he would stick by his friends no matter how bad the circumstances got. Daryl had two very close friends, Chris and Paul, they were always there for Daryl. Daryl loved Maria the mother of his son and she loved him deeply. Maria and Daryl were in love for 20 years. Daryl was not a materialistic person, he could care less about money. He never talked bad about people or looked down on them, even when he was on top of the motocross world. He was humble even after a hard fought win. He was kind to people and made nobodies feel like somebody. He treated people the same at the top or the bottom; and treated them with Dignity. He was a private person, but loved Jesus Christ and God unconditionally. He loved his immediate family and close friends. Daryl had passion for Jesus Christ, his family, and motocross; you cannot lose salvation once you have been saved by Jesus Christ once you have been saved. Daryl’s salvation and eternal life is secure. Daryl has never used the Lord’s name in vain. You could beat Daryl with a baseball bat and he would not denounce God or Jesus Christ; everybody that knew him knows this as a fact. He was a true man. He was a hard worker and never complained no matter how bad the circumstance he would take it head on. Christians DO NOT DIE, they live on in another realm. Daryl was a visitor to earth his citizenship is in HEAVEN. Daryl went home to be with God and Jesus Christ in Heaven on July 13, 2010.
