

David was a class of 1957 graduate at Weedsport Central High in Weedsport, New York. He was a lifelong educator and school administrator. After attending college at SUNY Brockport and following other educational ventures he returned to his hometown to be principal at Weedsport Central High School from 1970 through 1982. His positive impact on thousands of students is immeasurable.
David was a devout Christian and was an active participant in several churches throughout his life.
He is survived by his wife, the love of his life and high school sweetheart Marjorie (Treat). He was predeceased by his son Michael (Brenda) Bowden and grandson Joshua Bowden. He is survived by his children Cathy (Teddy) Deese, Patricia (Scott) McCarty and Edward (Dena) Bowden. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Jeffrey, Nicole, Brett, Kelsey, Emily, Hunter, Derek, Tiffany, Giavanna, Jakub, and Jenna.
David's final earthly residence was at the Concordia Village in Tampa. The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at Concordia for their loving care and support.
Further gratitude is extended to Life Path Hospice of Tampa for their unwavering and much appreciated support in David's last year.
