LASSWELL, David L., DC, born December 15, 1950, died December 13, 2020 peacefully at home. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Lasswell, father, Fred Lasswell (Snuffy Smith), and brothers Timothy J. Lasswell (Tim) and Frederick Daniel III (Danny). David was the youngest of the three Lasswell brothers and leaves to remember him his son, Steven Daniel Lasswell and numerous cousins and friends.
David spent his early life on Davis Island and attended Gorrie, Wilson, and Plant H.S. He graduated from University of South Florida and went on to obtain his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan University. He brought a passion for healing into his practice, Lasswell Chiropractic, over the following years.
The family will host a visitation on Tuesday, December 22 from 12-1pm with a funeral service to follow at 1pm at Blount & Curry MacDill. Interment at Garden of Memories Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted at the Florida Chiropractic Foundation.
