Born in Burlington, North Carolina, David was a lifelong resident of the Tampa Bay area. He graduated from Leto High School and attended the University of Florida. Following a successful career in the construction industry, he retired as a Project Manager, overseeing major commercial development projects for companies including Walgreens, Publix, and Tesla.
For more than 30 years, David called Redington Shores home and embraced the beach lifestyle he loved so much. A passionate sports fan, he was a lifelong Florida Gators supporter and enjoyed NASCAR, while faithfully cheering on the Tampa Bay Rays, Tampa Bay Lightning, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
David loved the game of golf and cherished opportunities to play at Pebble Beach and attend The Masters at Augusta National—experiences that fulfilled lifelong dreams.
Active in his beach community and a proud member of the Redington Shores Beach Club, David was known for his generosity, kindness, and willingness to lend a helping hand to neighbors, friends, and family. He had a special love for cats, music, and holiday celebrations. His creativity and fun-loving spirit were especially evident each Halloween, when he delighted in making the season memorable for others.
Above all, David treasured his role as a father and grandfather. He deeply loved his daughters, Kristie and Brooke, and adored his grandchildren, Ace, Landon, Dean, Reggie, and Zendaya. The time he spent with them brought him his greatest joy.
