Deidre Mary Cheviron

Cheviron, Deidre Mary (Steen) passed away July 9, 2024. Known as “Dee Dee”, she was predeceased by her parents, Mary Stella (Beltrone) and Claud (David) Steen; her sister, and Linda Lee Steen. She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Moreau Markovitch, her brother, David W. Steen and his wife, Sharon; nephews Anthony, Brian, David S. and niece, Pamela Johnson; and two grandsons, Trenton and Alexander. Dee Dee had a deep interest in the arts and regularly attended musicals and concerts. The family will miss her Italian dinners passed down to her by her mother. Besides her talent in the kitchen, she became a skilled legal assistant in her brother’s law office. She was a natural at making and keeping friends. In another chapter of her life, she operated motels in the Adirondack Mountains while living in Schroon Lake. She was successful at making many friends and participated in community organizations such as Lions Club, Seagle Music Colony, and the Methodist Church. She loved her family and enjoyed her friends as well as the many cats she had over the years. Her friendly personality, great sense of humor and knowledge of the arts were unique. She is sure to be missed by those lucky enough to have known her. A memorial will be held July 30, 2024 from 5:30 to 7:00 P.M. at Gonzalez Funeral Home, 7209 North Dale Mabry Hwy., Tampa.
