Wanda and I were blessed to have met Deeda at the T&C Senior Center. We took several exercise classes and volunteered together. She contributed so much to the center. She was always so bubbly and fun to be with. She was a very special sweet person and will truly be missed. We'll always remember that big smile and beautiful face. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.

Life is full of special moments. Some we know as they happen but others, we do not realize them until they’re over. Cousin Deloris was a warm and kindhearted person, who held a special place within the lives of my parents and I. I recall the times we would visit her and she would join my dad on his daily walks; a nice stroll full of laughs. That meant the world to the both of us. She was just simply thoughtful. She never missed my parents‘ birthday. You could always count on a beautiful floral arrangement or delicious fruit basket arriving the day of. It was her desire to celebrate them. Her display of love was unmatched and will be cherished forever. But now it’s my turn, I celebrate you Deloris. Thank you for your countless displays of love. I love you

I remember Delores as being a sweet, kind, funny, gently spoken person and a woman that fears God. Delores would light up any room with her presence and would have you laughing. Although Deloise lived in Florida and I lived in California, it didn’t matter. We would call or text each other with a Happy New Year, Happy Mother Day, Happy Thanksgiving and a Merry ChrIstmas greeting, just check in to make sure all is still good, and everyone is well.
If there was fires in Los Angeles or hurricanes in Florida, we would confirm that everyone is ok. Delores starts her message with “Hey Cuz,” and she would end with Love you, HUGGS.💕
Delores was married to my cousin, Alvin. But we were just like blood cousins.
Hey Cuz, you will always be in our hearts. HUGGS💕
Love you forever,
Cousin Craig and Debbie

My prayers are with the family during this time of loss. Deeda was a remarkable person and had such a kind hearted spirit. She contributed to the success of the Town N Country Senior Center through volunteering and serving as an advisory council member. She and her daughter were weekly attendees to the fitness classes and always brought joy to others!
Forever in my ❤️!

My Mother met Deeda walking through JC Penney at Citrus Park here in Tampa. My Mother later moved back to California, but not before giving me her friendship with Deeda. Through her friendship we experienced Plays, Concerts, Wine Making, Urban League Luncheons & Dinners and our signature event, Death by Chocolate. I am grateful life gave me such a vibrant, fun loving, always in your corner and overall blessed friend in Deeda. Til we meet again, I'll cherish you & keep you in my heart forever.
