She was a graduate of the Academy of the Holy Names, Saint Leo College, and the University of South Florida. She loved learning and teaching, and was a founding member of the Middle School program at Beach Park School in Tampa. Diane was a loyal friend and those who were lucky enough to be loved by her knew that she would always be in their corner.
Diane lived her life facing chronic illness with her biggest adversary being Systemic Lupus. She was an avid supporter of the Lupus Foundation and the Sepsis Alliance. The family would request donations be made to these organizations in lieu of flowers.
