Donald Ray Shearer

Donald Ray Shearer, age 75, of Lutz, FL passed away Feb. 4th, 2015. Born in Monticello, KY. Don spent many years in Louisville and Burkesville, KY and relocated to the Tampa area retiring from Tampa General Hospital in 2002. Don was a man of faith, devoted to God and his family. He was a lifelong servant of the Lord and served as an elder at the Lutz Church of Christ. Don served in the Air force, 72nd SAC 1957-1962. He had a lifelong passion for sports, particularly the KY Wildcats, was an avid fisherman and an accomplished woodworker. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Imogene Shearer of Louisville, KY. Don is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Anna Lou Shearer. Four children, Sherrie (Jimmy) Marocki, Sandy (Marshall) Foxworthy, Sons, Derrick (Susan), and Kevin. Seven grandchildren, Ryan (Lindsey), Christopher (fiancé Darcy), Lucas, Katelyn, Anthony, Selena & Joshua. One great granddaughter, Arya. Two brothers & four sisters and many more loved ones. Visitation will be from 1:30-3:30 on Saturday Feb 7, 2015 with the Memorial Service to follow at the South Livingston Ave Church of Christ. Private Entombment at the Hillsboro Memorial Gardens will conclude on Monday, Feb. 9th, 2015.
