Thank you, Mama Dear, for all the joyful stories and memories you gave us; they will live on in our hearts. Thank you for the love you gave us with your full, beautiful heart. I write these words for you to document our appreciation for all the years we got to spend with you, talking, laughing, and loving each other. Our hearts deeply miss your presence. Thank you, Mama Dear, for being the mother you were to us. So, may you sleep in peace, my Queen. Until we meet again, you shall always be in our thoughts and our hearts. We will always love you, Mama Dear, and cherish the beauty you possessed.

"Mama's Farewell Chronicle"

Happiest Memory: The first movie our "Mommy" took my sister and me to see was "The sound of music" we absolutely loved it! So, I start this chronicle by singing " So long, farewell, auf wierdersehen(for the German cousins), goodbye".

It took a weekly tag team to care for mama, Akeem, Aisha's son, my nephew and mama's only grandson, I say "Bravow! Well done you faithful and loving grandson, you cleaned her bathroom, did her laundry, cleaned her room, but best of all you brought her ice cream and hugged and showed her love. tag- Gail, mama's niece and godchild, my cousin, you showered our mama with so much love just as you would if she was your own mama, bring her flowers, giving her showers, styling her hair and making her whatever Trini food her heart desired, thank you for bring so much joy to our mama. tag- I had the distinct privilege of being my mama's advocate to the world, making sure that her needs were met, and that she knew that she was loved, never was a burden, and that "I got you ole gyrl", you don't have to worry about a thing. I facetimed her family all over the world and allowed her to stay connected, I brought the doubles, Phou lourie and that must have mini sprite she always asked for. tag- But it takes a village: Aisha, mama.my sister, mama's daughter and Hadijah, mama's granddaughter brought her love, hugs laughs and flowers and they made her heart soar, she loved it! tag- Candice, my daughter, mama's grandaughter and her two great grandaughters Anjali & Isla, along with our cousin Paula all had the honor to be at mama's bedside when she peacefully passed away. My spiritual sisters Onix and Rosi who loved and supported mama and me, they will be greatly blessed, Jehovah is watching tag- Ms Dee, mama's special friend who spent quality time with her every week taking her to lunch, shopping, for hair cuts, even taking her on vacation with her to visit her family, blessings are coming your way, thank you. tag- All the nieces, nephews and friends who came to visit and spend quality time with her, you all made her very happy. Thank you
