Duyet was a captain in the Southern Vietnamese Army. He and family came to America to Faribault, MN in 1975. The family later moved to Tampa, FL in 1985.
Duyet enjoys playing his guitar, singing, karaoke, photography, gardening, cooking and traveling/visiting families.
He is survived by his loving wife, An, his children, Yen (Brian), Tuan (Thao), Luan (Ut), Truong (Marilyn) and 4 grandchildren. He also is survived by his 8 brothers and sisters (Dieu, Liem, Diep, Lieu, Ly, Luan, Loan, Dung) and their families.
He is preceded by his parents.
A visitation will be held at Gonzalez Funeral Home, located at 7209 North Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa, FL 33614, on October 25, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
A religious ceremony will follow at the same location on October 25, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
