Ed was born in East Feliciana Parish, Louisiana, to Max Stewart and Alberta Johnson on 5 December 1934. He married Florence A. McIntosh on May 26, 1945, in Houston, Texas. Ed is a loved Father, Brother, Grandfather, Uncle and Friend. Ed worked as a Truck Driver for many years eventually owning his own trucking company. Ed was a born entrepreneur, at one time owning a club and residential apartments. Ed also served as a Sheriff’s Deputy in Texas.
Ed is preceded in death by his wife Florence A. Stewart. Siblings Elizabeth Stewart, Peola Stewart, Martha Stewart, Ray Stewart, Mack Stewart.
Ed is survived by his children Brenda E. Stewart and Gary E. Stewart (Serena Stewart), Siblings Robert Stewart (Sharon Stewart), Elvin Stewart, Alberta Stewart and Louise Stewart. Ed is also survived by his Grandson; Jeroyd J. Stewart and a host of nieces and nephews.
