It's taken me awhile to post this because I'm still in shock and heart broken over the passing of my dear friend Teddy. Teddy was more than a friend and those who spent any time with him can attest to his warmth and kind hearted nature he had. I loved Teddy like a father and will miss him dearly. The memories I have of him will last a lifetime and I will cherish them and keep him alive in my heart. My prayers and thoughts are with his family.

What a good man that was taken way too soon.. My heart goes out to all the family.. Ba was always so sweet and caring too us as kids.. My mother worked for him for almost 25 years and he watched us grow up.. Always was pushing us all to do our best. I just spoke with him about a month ago when we went to eat dinner. It didn’t matter if months or years went by he always made sure to stop at the table and asked me how we all was doing and how my family was.. My heart goes out to George, Spirit and the grandkids.. he will be dearly missed.. keeping you all in prayer for the days too come. Send much love to you all!

Uncle Teddy, He was a second father to me, he love kids , he love his kids , his grandkids, he loved my two kids, He was always kind , there’s so many memories , he was a competitor, he love to be the competition , I will miss our little arguments, like his pizza is better, his lasagna is tremendous , his buns are the best and we all know that was true! I will miss uncle Teddy looking out Saturdays and Sundays at the golf course not seeing him passing by with my dad Jimmy picking up golf balls out of my yard😀, it was tough to see him before he passed, but I am so glad I was able to hug him , kiss him , and touch his heart ! He will be very missed, He had a lot more to do , a lot more love to give , and a lot more memories to make ! I love you uncle Teddy , i’m going to miss you , my kids are going to miss you , my wife is going to miss you ! Our whole family is going to miss you ! Say hello to Yaya , say hello to papu , say hello to uncle Gus, and say hello to my mother Mary! We love you uncle Teddy! May God continue to bless you !

"Uncle Teddy" always showed a warm welcome to all of the many members of the Field Family, opening his and Aunt Susie's doors and hearts on numerous occasions. We hold his songs, stories, and fun in our hearts as fond memories, with thanks. We are also proud of his children Spirit and George, and wonderful grandchildren - Riley, Chloe, Penelope, Simon, Graydon, and Nora -- who carry on his memory as well! Love Aunt Becky and Uncle Ahmad

Our deepest sympathies to you and your family. Uncle Teddy Ba will be missed, and we'll carry him in our hearts, forever. I'll also continue to call him Uncle Teddy Ba since everyone let me go with that name. I just thought because George & Spirit called him Ba I also would. It was always my favorite vacation to travel to FL to see my Aunt, Uncle, and cousins. Aunt Susie would give me big hugs and Uncle Teddy Ba would too. He'd swoop me up and give me a big hug, have a prickly mustache kiss ready, and say, "hi honey". From swimming in their pool, to beach trips, to visiting the restaurant, and the rest of the FL fam. We have many wonderful memories to treasure. We're very sad we cannot be there in person to give you all big hugs. Sending so much love from CT.
Love - Rachel, Bill, Evie and Spence
