A Sister of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary, entered into eternal life on Sunday, November 2, in Okeechobee, FL where she ministered for over 30 years. Sister Elinor also served the church in Albany, NY, Silver Spring, MD, and Tampa, FL. Sister Elinor was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Dorothy Sevigny, and her sister Josephine Ball. She is survived by her sister Ernel Shorkey, many devoted nieces and nephews, and the members of her Religious Community. A Wake service will be held on Friday, Nov. 7, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Blount and Curry Funeral Home at 605 S MacDill Avenue, Tampa, FL. A prayer service will take place at 5:00 p.m. The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Saturday, Nov. 8, at 9:30 in the Blessed Marie Rose Chapel at the Academy of the Holy Names, 3319 Bayshore Blvd., Tampa.
