Emma Perez

Emma was a wonderful and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. The most important thing in life was her family. She was a wonderful cook and everyone will miss her delicious food. Though she will be missed, she will always be in her family’s heart.

Emma was preceded in death by her loving husband of 71 years, Jose “Cheo” Perez as well as her siblings Gloria Flores, Rene Zito and Miguel Angel Zito.

Emma is survived by her two daughters Cecilia Valdes (Jose) and Alina Echevarria, her grandchildren, Jessica Shellard (David), Erika Chambers (Thomas), Alex Valdes (Michelle), Kristina Evans (Carim), Orlando Echevarria (Kayla), her great grandchildren, Natalie, Emma, Andrew, Nathan, Ezra, Lucas, Jacob, Verona, and Oliver as well as many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 from 1:00PM to 2:00PM at Gonzalez Funeral Home, 7209 North Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa, FL with funeral services beginning at 2:00PM. Entombment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4207 E Lake Ave, Tampa, FL.
