Oh how I miss the good old days on River Grove. I can just hear Fred and Emma Lee going at it now. She was so funny. My childhood was much more eventful and memorable because of our next door neighbors. I am hoping that all of Emma Lee's family can find comfort in knowing that she is peacefully at rest.

My deepest sympathies go out to all of the family. Your mom was a dear friend of mine. I feel blessed to have retained that friendship for decades.

I am so glad that my mom, Barb, and I got to spend time with her in December.

I will miss our chats, and I will especially miss her humor.

She was truly one of a kind!

My late mom, Edna Lee Jenkins Dormany and Emma Lee were first cousins. When my wife and I got married in December 1968 Emma Lee and her mom, who we all called Aunt Amy, came to our wedding. My deepest condolences to her family.

Rest easily, dear Lee. Although I was not literally with you at the end, I was with you in spirit. I loved being your friend and neighbor. I loved your sharp and witty mind....and even your sharp tongue. You were a fighter and a survivor. You will be dearly missed. 😓
