Evangelina Robles

Evangelina was born in Leon, Spain, on January 22,1921. She moved from Spain to Cuba in the early 50’s. In 1966 she moved from Cuba to Tampa with her husband and son.

Evangelina is predeceased by her husband of 58 years. She is survived by two sons, Joe and Ben and her beloved daughter in law , Carolyn along with three grandchildren, Heather, Benny and Heleena and three great-grandchildren Haley, Ella, and Benni.

Evangelina was a member of St. Joseph church in Tampa for several years. She worked for Córrales y Wodiska cigar factory for over 20 years. She was a devoted and cherished wife and mother. Evangelina loved to cook for the whole family. Every Sunday the whole family would get together and enjoy all the wonderful food she made.

In the past eight years, Evangelina lived in an assisted living facility where she had the best care anyone could possibly have. All caregivers and friends at the assisted living loved her for her sense of humor and kindness.
