RIH Aunt Evelyn, you will be remembered by your smile and great hugs. Growing up, I will forever remember your card parties, my grandparents Ray and Helen would attend and your generosity --- with the best snacks!
You are joined again, with Uncle Frank--- so, I am sure there is lots of laughter and love for an eternity--- united together.
Love,
Your Niece Crystal

Memories, are all we have since one of our dearest friends, Evelyn Perkins ended life's journey. As we pause to celebrate the life of our special friend, Evelyn, we are reminded of all the memories we shared with her. We grieve for Arkeem, Sam, Geraldine, her grandchildren, great grandchildren and all who knew and loved her. We remember those days long ago at the Wilmington Medical Center and the phlebotomy staff. We may not always remember the day that Evelyn ended her journey. But for as long as we live our family will never ever forget that Evelyn passed this way. We wish to thank God for the priviledge to have known her.

Auntie Evelyn we remember your spunky personality. We knew when you and uncle Frank came to Dayton for a visit with mama Hannah and daddy Haskle (fun and laughter was on the way). I especially remember the trip to the beach with family you said "oh no" I'll just get my feet wet a little" you kept laughing and yelling some famous words. Haha you were a joy to the spirit. We love you much. Miss you. Enjoy your new peace. (Niece) Charles & Cheryl Diggs & Family

Watching our favorite TV shows together. Having coffee together with French vanilla creamer. Having the same favorite color (RED). Just sitting together talking about family and back in the day. Loving it when you were in the kitchen because I knew you would be cooking up something GOOD😄I will carry you forever in my heart ❤

I will miss her delicious pig feet from the holidays. It took me a couple of years with, step-by-step instructions by phone how to prep, but I finally got it! She was true to her word and guidance and, now with my mom (Gloria Burke - whom the both were in cohoots as "professional" bingo players) in heaven. I thank God for allowing me to be a part of her life. She touched and care diligently for those who crossed her path. Sheila Burke
