Frances Arbisi Martino

MARTINO, FRANCES ARBISI passed on August 28, 2014. She lived to the amazing age of 106 and her life was filled with the love and happiness she shared with her family and friends. Born on June 26, 1908, she was a lifetime resident of Tampa, Florida. She was a devoted member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help (OLPH) Church where she especially enjoyed singing in the choir and serving in the Ladies Guild. She was recognized for her many years of outstanding support and contribution to the Sons of Italy Unita Lodge and in 2008 she was awarded a lifetime membership for being their only centenarian. She was a wonderful cook who embraced her family with the warmth of many family meals. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Martino; her son, Thomas Martino; and her grandson, Mark Martino. She is survived by her children, Josephine Rinaldo and husband, Anthony; Gasper Martino and wife, Norma; her grandchildren, Rosella Paul and husband, Henry; Nick Rinaldo and wife, Catherine; Tom Martino; Lisa Tuero and husband, Manny; by great grandchildren, Anthony Thomas Rinaldo, Nicole Rinaldo, Francesca Rinaldo, Natalie Tuero, and Anthony Tuero; by three generations of nieces and nephews; and by countless dear friends. A service celebrating her life will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church located at 1711 East 11th Avenue, Tampa, Florida, 33605. The family will receive family and friends beginning at 9:30 a.m.
