

Francine Bruck Corral, of Tampa, Florida, died peacefully on Sunday, November 16, 2014 at the age of 92. She was born on April 30,1922, the only child of Georgina and Francois Bruck in Liege, Belgium. She met her husband, James J. Corral, in Belgium during World War II, and they married on October 11, 1945 after a whirlwind romance. She came to the United States on a war bride ship in 1946, and settled with her husband in his home town of Tampa. She devoted her life to the care of her husband and children in a home that she lovingly and beautifully decorated. She recently resided in Bon Secours Maria Manor where she was well cared for by a loving and capable staff. She was predeceased by her husband, her father and mother, and her daughter, Mary Jo Corral Sultenfuss. She is survived by her daughters, Jacqueline Corral Dickey (Robert) and Michele Corral McKay (Charles) and was the beloved grandmother of eight grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may visit with the family at Blount & Curry Funeral Home, 605 S. MacDill Avenue, on Friday, November 21, 2014, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be offered at Christ The King Catholic Church on Saturday, November 22, at 10:00 a.m. Private interment will follow for immediate family at Myrtle Hill Cemetery.
