With deep love and profound sadness, the Mejia family announces the passing of Francisco Antonio Mejia, Jr., a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. His life was defined by faith, dedication, and an unwavering love for his family.
Francisco is survived by his beloved wife, Irma Mejia (Sabater); his son Christopher Mejia and daughter‑in‑law Christine Mejia; and his daughter Jennifer Mejia. He was the proud grandfather of four cherished grandchildren: Gianna, Nicholas, Julianna, and Brittany, each of whom brought him immeasurable joy.
For 38 years, Francisco built a distinguished career with Xerox as a respected service technician in New York. His expertise and professional commitment earned him the honor of being selected to serve as a technician at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Utah, a moment he treasured deeply. Frank also received multiple Presidents Club Awards and trips throughout his tenure at Xerox. Always eager to learn, Frank earned a Degree from Bronx Community College while working full time and raising his family.
A devout Catholic, Francisco lived his faith through kindness, humility, and service. He loved music and dancing, often filling family gatherings with rhythm, laughter, and warmth. Known as the family handyman, he could fix anything and was always ready to help, no matter how big or small the task.
Above all, Francisco’s greatest pride was his children and the lives they built. Their accomplishments were his heart’s greatest joy, and he celebrated them with boundless love.
Francisco will be remembered for his gentle spirit, steady presence, and the love he poured into every corner of his life. His memory will continue to guide and inspire all who were blessed to know him.
