Franklin W. Katzenmeyer was born April 3, 1934 in New Cumberland, West Virginia to the late John Franklin Katzenmeyer and Alta Irene Katzenmeyer. Frank graduated from Chester High School in 1952. He continued on to electrician school and worked for Western Electric Toledo, Ohio. In 1971 he moved his family to Tampa, Florida, where he worked in the hospitality industry. Frank enjoyed dancing and playing the drums for many bands in his younger days. Frank was also a history buff and served in the U.S. Army with an honorable discharge serving most of his time in Germany.
Frank is predeceased by his beloved wife, Jacqueline.
Frank leaves behind his daughter, Kathy (Randy); son, Franklin (Missy); several grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; sisters, Sue Boston, Joyce Parker, Ginger McKeown; and many nieces and nephews.
