Gale Fleming Woodall passed away Monday March 9, 2015 after a short illness. She was born in Bradenton, FL to the late Lena and Jack Fleming. Gale grew up in Tampa attending Mitchell, Wilson and Plant High School. She graduated from Brenau College in 1967 with a degree in education. She was a member of Chi Omega Sorority. After graduation, she taught civics at Wilson Jr. High School for several years. Gale married Fred Woodall on November 24, 1967. They were married for 48 years. She is survived by her husband, two sons, Brian Woodall (Jessica) of Asheville, N.C. and Luke Woodall of Tampa. She also leaves her grandchildren, Tyler Woodall, Dillon, Kyndall, and Ema Woodall; her sister Martha F. Durst (John); her brother John Fleming ( Susan) and numerous nieces and nephews. Gale has always loved animals and leaves behind her beloved dogs, Dooley and Buckwheat. There will be a private family service at a later date.
