Gary R. Ubben, 67, passed away on April 22, 2016 in Tampa, FL. Gary was born on December 9, 1948 in Amarillo, TX. He graduated from Loyola University in Chicago, IL before serving 4 years in the US Navy on the aircraft carrier Kitty Hawk in the Vietnam Conflict. He was honorably discharge from the Navy before working for 30 years in the electronic industry. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nadine Ubben. Gary is survived by his father Robert Ubben, Aunt Betty Reid of Amarillo, TX and favorite cousins and nieces. Arrangements under the direction of Gonzalez Funeral Home, Tampa, FL. A visitation will take place on Monday, April 25, 2016 from 5 to 8PM at Gonzalez Funeral Home. Funeral services will then be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at 10AM at the funeral home with interment to follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Gary's name to The St. Jude Children's Hospital.
