BORROTO, Gerardo, 55, of Tampa a native of Ciego de Avila, Cuba, passed away on Jan. 28, 2012. He is survived by his sons, Kevin and Julian; sister, Bertha Borroto; parents, Tomas and Esther Borroto; uncles and aunts; numerous cousins; and many close lifelong friends. Gerardo was a big fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, he enjoyed fishing on his boat, riding around in his viper, and loved spending time with friends and family. Gerardo had a big heart and was always helping others. Visitation will be Wednesday, Feb. 1 from 5-9 pm. Funeral Service 11 am on Thursday all at Gonzalez Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park. He will be dearly missed.
