Man, Graviel, I remember when I first met you back in 2004 going into 2005 back in 5th grade back at Tampa Bay elementary , you had Ms.Alonzo or Ms.Valdez. I remember we met in the after school program and you was so quiet like myself and so calm and collected and we would speak to each other on and off whenever we had the chance. I remember in 2011 when Joel passed away and I named my then pit bull after him (Joel), I texted you and told you about it and you was so excited and couldn’t wait for me to bring him to see you and when you did, your eyes lit up and the excitement on your face was unmatched because of me naming my pit after your then late cousin. And me also meeting your family and yall inviting me into yall house and I was so amazed at just how big it was on the inside and beautiful, like a palace lol . The times I met you randomly in university mall shopping, me being excited to show you the car I was driving to high school and how “fast” it was lol, to use having Mr.Gonye class together and you telling me how I should look into tattooing because I could draw so well. It all meant so much to me and gave me hope because while in high school I was such a depressed, suicidal and frustrated person and just you talking to me made me feel better. I can definitely remember when you opened your own tatoo parlor in ybor and I told you how extremely proud of you I was for you achieving something so great at such a young age, impressive to say the least. When I heard of your passing and especially how you went out, I was crushed, I love you so much that I already decided that my son will have the same middle name as you, “ isidoro”, why not man, that’s just how much I honor you bruv….i wish you could see me now traveling to London and etc, living my best life as a photographer now, love you man, forever and always, r.i.p Graviel, until we meet again.

My heart is so heavy. I was searching to send you a message and came across trying to call you to never get a reply. I knew something wasn’t right and came across a family member and saw your photo. My heart is shattered. I remember so many times us riding together in my car singing and stopping by the drive thru to grab food and also just many heart to heart conversations about life and just living. I would go to ybor and us talk and I would run into you just walking by in ybor many times we spoke on baseball and a lot of things I always encouraged you to pursue your dreams keep you safe and out of any harm or trouble. I remember seeing your mom outside and thinking how beautiful she is and how you  are such a good hearted soul. My heart is so heavy now just breaks my heart to know this and never say goodbye. I love you so much and I wish I was there and we kept in touch more often as years passed that was my fault I lost touch and became isolated and I will always cherish our talks and memories. May you rest easy and know you are loved by many and always in my heart.

To Graviel’s family and friends I send my condolences and apologies. I don’t have the words to express how sorry I am for the loss you have experienced. Graviel was always quiet and polite as he walked by my house and said hello to me. Everywhere I went I would run into him and it was always so strange how I constantly found myself in the same places as him at the same exact time. Graviel was the tattoo artist who gave my girlfriend of 10 years who I plan to be with forever her first tattoo. It is strange how I inevitably will be connected to him through her forever. I never really had the chance to get to know you Graviel because you were taken much too soon. 
  I am sorry your son, your friend, and much more than words can describe was taken away so soon from you all. I hope one day you can find peace and closure in knowing you will be with him again In god’s kingdom and he will be there waiting in heaven where he belongs.

I miss you so much words can’t even express how much I do . I hope your spirit is at peace and enjoying the other dimension. You are loved and always in my heart. Wow I’m really late, but I just wanted to say thank you for being so kind to me always and for giving me my first 2 tattoos I know I was screaming and almost passed out lol but you helped a lot and laughed with me through it all. You will be very missed may you Rest In Peace. 💫

After your burial you visited again to say “I am now at peace now that I know I am loved” I know you seen all the support and felt all the love. I am so happy I have the gift to connect to the deceased and can share this with everyone who is mourning you. 🕊🤍

Oh man, so many memories come to mind with Graviel, from his tattoos, sharing a plate with me and being a loving and selfless person he always was (He made sure he took care of others first).
But there is one memory that stands out and it's the day I met him. I was maybe 15-16 and I was with a group of young guys around 9 pm or so, we were walking to a friend's home to hang out and coming up the street with a old pal of ours was this kid I heard of but didn't even know, it was Graviel. Instantly we all were introducing ourselves and shaking hands and he just had this Rawww positive energy, we all were clicking and laughing and he was so Excited ! He just got this tattoo on his stomach, it said "West Tampa", we were all proud of our neighborhood am I right? Lol. I believe it was his first tattoo possibly, we all felt that excitement being so young and bold we were just hype. Ironically a car full of a bunch of girls was passing us maybe a full car 5 of them just yelled Westtttttt! Throwing up the W in the hands haha, there was like 7 of us, Graviel like jumped in front of us to get through in front without his shirt and his Tatt and we all yelled the same back he was the loudest there... it was a start of a good friendship, someone I'd share a piece of my life with, and our struggles. I was in between a church boy and doing dumb things, I was always preaching and not practicing but we had a great conversation about God's grace. God allowed me to minister in weird ways to my friends. I remember the last time I was Luke warm with God was when Vanessa came into the living room "Ohhh look the church boy is drinking again".  And God used her to put some sense into me, and I'm forever grateful for this family. I thank God for everything I went through with no regrets, I'd do it all over again. Thank you Graviel, you're in the Presence of God now and we must Celebrate your life. We all live in this world temporary and we will all go as well. Until we see you again brother.

What to say... So many things come to mind while I'm also speechless. There are no words to describe our friendship. There was love, hate, tears, and forgiveness. A relentlessness that neither one of us could ever say, no. 
You were my lover and my best friend. You were home for me, my comfort, and my smile. We were so dumb together and I cherished every minute of it. You gave my life purpose. There was never a dull moment. A chemistry like fire every time we touched. If away for too long I'd be in tears missing you. I was addicted. I could never stay mad at you spite everything I knew. I never held a grudge and I could never resist. "What is oxygen?" I never needed it the moments our lips touched. I was with you four days up until your very last day, I saw you that day, held you all morning, went to work... Just to get off to find that you were gone. I didn't believe them... I looked and waited for you knowing that if this was true I lost a part of me that I wasn't ready for. We've been a routine for years.. and my one thing I'd always say to you is, I'd never let you go.. unless you let me go... Now, I don't have a choice. But I'm grateful.. because the night before this horrific up day, I cried to you and told you how I would never leave your side, what you mean to me, and how hard it was to love you. And also how I didn't care what your lifestyle was. You looked at me all watery eyed and gave me the longest hardest hug and the things you told me will never leave my heart...and we slept. I can't believe that was the last time... This was not the plan. Moments I'll never forget, wrestling on and off through the night lmao, quoting stupid movies on re-run, and the way you would always take care of me when I hurt myself.. I always looked at you like, who is this guy?! You were my everything. As you are to many. You're a light we needed.. you were the love many people would be lucky to have and to feel. You were a man! My guy Gravy.  Such a genuine pure hearted person. I remember meeting you freshman year in Algebra and us just always talking about what we wanted in life. Both of us always going against the grain in ROTC. I can’t express how much you mean to me. You never knew the influence you had on my life that got me through some of my hardest times as a teen. A true warrior you were. I’m thankful you were able to leave your mark by tattooing my arm. My favorite memory was you coming with me to AI, even though you couldn’t get in the water due to your fresh ink. You even walked all the way to the slides just to wait with me. A real friend. You were one of the reasons I stayed in the Army now after almost 9 years. You believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself. “You got this Ty”.  Visiting home and Ybor will never be the same without you. Rest is paradise my brother. 🖤

Sweet graviel will be so missed. I have so many memories with him . Vanessa being my bestfriend he treated me just like another sister . I’ll never forget the night I left their house with a guy lol and he went in the guys car and told me to get out and go back in the house lol and then lectured me in the house. He was my very first tattoo. I loved him so much and wish I would’ve been around him more after high school times. So many things I wish I could’ve told him. I pray he’s at peace and I pray Vanessa along with the rest of his family heals one day from this loss because it’s a huge one. Missed forever wish we could talk one last time. How lucky is heaven to have someone like u . 

I am sorry for your lost. Graviel Isidoro Martinez was a sweet man and will be lost. My prayers are with his family and friends. 

My brother, I’m at a lost of words. I still cant believe you are really gone. I will always remember our times together. Like the time we stayed up all night on the phone playing and talking shit with my cousin. Then my cousin and I walked over to your house at 6 am and your dad was mad cause we woke him up lol. Or the times we walked to Carlos’s house and worked out in his backyard. Or the times we used to grapple in your grandpa’s backyard. I also remember our times as young adults and how we used to party in the old CZAR, AMP, Sherpards, SMF, and the list goes on. The times we used to train MMA together with Master Hoon and always going hard in the gym. I’ll always remember you bro. Your smile and laugh would always light up the room. Rest easy my brother. Long live King Graviel. 

Graviel, my heart is devastated over your passing.  We never had the opportunity to be together because you didn’t feel worthy of me. I know things weren’t the same after we just fell off. We lost contact over the years. But even after all that I always wished the best for you. 
Just last week I picked up on your energy but it didn’t feel good. I tried to find ways to get in contact to check in on you but I couldn’t get to you. & then a few days later I found out you were gone… when I found this out that night before bed  I spoke to you that night & then you came in a dream I couldn’t remember tho. 2 nights ago you came again after I left the service in the dream & you confessed your regret for not giving us a chance now that you passed. I feel your heart at peace knowing I had that closure. I know you will be watching from the other side giving my signs that you’re around like you have been. In time I know I will be okay. You will be missed..  RIP

Graviel and I know how much we love each other and our love will live forever.
Our love was innocent and pure. He is the love of my life and I was his. He knows that because we would tell each other that no matter what our love was unbreakable and immortal. You never gossiped and were a true friend never talked behind peoples backs and helped your homies out expecting nothing in return.  I always admired your innocence and goofiness, a child at heart.
