

Guelda Celestin-Theobal, age 45, a woman of God and beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed on January 11, 2025, in Temple Texas following a long and courageous battle with breast cancer.
Guelda was born March 5,1979 in Anse-à-Galets, Haiti, the daughter of Levois Celestin and Suzette Erine-Celestin. Guelda graduated from C. Leon King High School in 1996, then went to University of South Florida, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2003. Guelda continued her education and obtained two master’s degrees from Walden University: a Master in Psychology in 2010 and a Master of Science Counseling Psychology in 2014. Guelda’s career was spent on facilitating and providing mental health aid to women who are institutionalized.
Guelda married Guecheon Theobal on July 19, 2003, in Tampa, Florida; they were married for 21 beautiful years and bear two wonderful children from that union.
Remaining to cherish Guelda’s memories are her spouse Guecheon Theobal; her two children Jeremie Theobal and Rachelle Theobal, her mother Suzette Erine-Celestin, her uncle who was a father figure to her Samuel Dorlean her mother-in-law Oceanie Loreus and Marie Rose Theobal as well as her father-in-law Leonard Theobal and Fritzner Saint Fleur. She also leaves behind her sister Taline Celestin and her brothers Bobs Celestin and Thierry Celestin. She also has left being her in laws which include sister in laws Haley Page-Celestin, Shera Michel, Guerline Theobal and Naderge Michel; as well as brother in laws Mia Loreus, Rodney Theobal and Jude Blot.
Not only does she leave behind nieces and nephews who loved her dearly but also cousins, aunts and uncles who will forever miss her. She also has left behind a large an extended families which include the Celestin Family, the Corrier Family, the Erine Family, the Valcin Family and the Saint Fleur Family all who played an important part in her upbringing and will forever cherish her.
She is preceded in death by her father Levois Celestin, her grandmothers Elvenie Celestin and Notilde Hervilus, her grandfathers Lefils Corrier and Merest Erine and aunts Acileda Valcin Registe and Sonette Petithomme.
Family and friends are invited to attend her wake on January 30, 2025 from 4:00 pm-7:00 pm at Blount & Curry Life Event Center 605 S. MacDill Ave. Tampa, Florida. Her memorial service will be held on Friday January 31, 2025 at 9:30am in the Springlife Church 9344 Spring Hill Drive Spring Hill FL 34608. Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery 6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513
