Con profundo amor, gratitud y admiración, la familia Boggiano Pericchi anuncia el fallecimiento de Guillermo Boggiano Corona, amado esposo, padre, abuelo, bisabuelo, abogado y extraordinario ejemplo de una vida plenamente vivida. Partió en paz, en la gracia del Señor, a la edad de 96 años, después de una existencia plena, productiva y feliz.

Guillermo nació en Valencia, Venezuela, en el seno de una familia de recursos modestos. Desde muy joven conoció las dificultades de la vida al perder a su padre durante la adolescencia. Ante esa dura realidad, su hermano mayor, Víctor, tomó la generosa decisión de abandonar sus estudios para contribuir al sustento de la familia y brindar oportunidades a sus hermanos menores.

Aquella experiencia marcó profundamente su carácter. Comprendió que la educación era el camino hacia el crecimiento personal y las oportunidades. Por ello dedicó su vida a la búsqueda de la excelencia académica y profesional. Gracias a su esfuerzo, disciplina y perseverancia, obtuvo su título de abogado en Italia y Venezuela, y posteriormente realizó estudios de posgrado en Derecho Laboral en París y en Ciencias Políticas en Inglaterra; logros extraordinarios para un joven que había iniciado su vida enfrentando tantas adversidades.

Como abogado, Guillermo ejerció su profesión con honor, integridad y un profundo compromiso con la justicia, ganándose el respeto de colegas, amigos y clientes. Como servidor público, trabajó en el Ministerio del Trabajo de Venezuela, representando tanto los intereses de los trabajadores como los del sector empresarial. Posteriormente, como diplomático, representó los intereses de Venezuela en la Embajada de Venezuela en París, Francia. Sin embargo, sus mayores logros no se encontraron únicamente en su trayectoria profesional, sino en la familia que formó y en los valores que sembró en quienes más amó.

Fue el devoto esposo de Bethsy Cristina, cariñosamente conocida como “Bichitina”, compañera de vida con quien compartió 63 años de amor, compromiso y felicidad. Juntos construyeron una familia unida y amorosa, que siempre fue el centro de su vida.

Como padre de Luis Guillermo, Aymara, José Joaquín, Víctor, Rafael, Bethsy e Isabel, enseñó principalmente con el ejemplo. Inculcó en cada uno de sus hijos la importancia de la fe, el sacrificio, la disciplina, la honestidad y, sobre todo, el poder transformador de la educación como herramienta de superación y realización personal. Su propia historia de humildad, rectitud, perseverancia y determinación fue la mayor lección que pudo legarles.

Durante sus últimos años, Guillermo hizo de Miami, Florida, su hogar, donde estuvo rodeado del amor de sus hijos, nietos, bisnietos, familiares y amigos. Quienes tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo siempre lo recordarán por su inteligencia, serenidad, fortaleza de carácter, generosidad y su inquebrantable devoción hacia su familia.

La vida de Guillermo Boggiano constituye un testimonio de que las circunstancias del nacimiento no determinan el destino de una persona. Con fe, trabajo, educación y perseverancia construyó una vida extraordinaria y dejó un legado que continuará inspirando a las generaciones futuras.

Hoy despedimos a un hombre excepcional cuya historia vivirá para siempre en cada uno de nosotros. Aunque lamentamos profundamente su partida y elevamos nuestras oraciones al Señor por el descanso de su alma, también celebramos una vida extraordinaria y damos gracias a Dios por el privilegio de haber compartido su camino.

Le preceden en la eternidad su amada esposa, Bethsy Cristina “Bichitina”; su nieto Stefan; su madre, Ernestina; su padre, Joaquín; así como sus hermanos y hermanas.

Le sobreviven sus siete hijos: Luis Guillermo; Aymara y su esposo Enrique; José Joaquín y su esposa Elizabeth; Víctor y su esposa María del Carmen; Rafael; Bethsy y su esposo Alfonso; e Isabel y su esposo Rodrigo.

También le sobreviven sus nietos: Luis Alejandro y su esposa Patricia; Michael; Gabriel y su esposa Morgan; Daniel y su esposa Christina; Alexander; Elizabeth y su esposo Leoncio; José Rafael y su esposa Delia; José Alejandro; Stephanie; Natalie; Juan Pablo; Guillermo; Fiorella; Alfonso; Daniel; Alejandro; Rodrigo y Matías.

Asimismo, deja a sus bisnietos Thiago, Olin, Enzo, Mia, Kai y Cristina, además de numerosos familiares y amigos muy queridos, quienes honrarán por siempre su memoria y procurarán vivir de acuerdo con los valores que él les enseñó.

Que Guillermo descanse en paz. Su legado de amor, sacrificio, educación, perseverancia y profunda dedicación a su familia perdurará para siempre.

He passed away peacefully in the grace of the Lord at the age of 96 after a full, productive, and joyful life.

Guillermo was born in Valencia, Venezuela, into a family of modest means. From an early age, he experienced life’s hardships when he lost his father as an adolescent. Faced with this difficult reality, his older brother, Víctor, made the selfless decision to leave school to help support the family financially and provide opportunities for his younger siblings.

That experience profoundly shaped Guillermo’s character. He came to understand that education was the path to personal growth and opportunity. He devoted his life to the pursuit of academic and professional excellence. Through hard work, discipline, and perseverance, he earned his law degrees in Italy and Venezuela and later pursued postgraduate studies in HR law in Paris and Political Sciences in England; extraordinary accomplishments for a young man who had begun life facing such adversity.

As an attorney, Guillermo practiced with honor, integrity, and a deep commitment to justice, earning the respect of colleagues, friends, and clients alike. As a politician, he worked in the Venezuelan Ministry of Labor representing the interests of both workers and industry owners. As a diplomat he represented Venezuela’s interests in the Venezuelan Embassy in Paris, France. Yet, his greatest accomplishments were found not only in his professional career but in the family he built and the values he instilled in those he loved most.

He was the devoted husband of Bethsy Cristina -Bichitina-, his life partner, with whom he shared 63 years of love, commitment, and happiness. Together they built a close-knit and loving family that became the center of his life.

As the father of Luis Guillermo, Aymara, José Joaquín, Víctor, Rafael, Bethsy, and Isabel, he taught by example. He instilled in each of his children the importance of faith, sacrifice, discipline, honesty, and, above all, the transformative power of education as a means of personal growth and achievement. His own story of humility, honesty, perseverance and determination remained the greatest lesson he could ever impart.

During his later years, Guillermo made his home in Miami, Florida, where he was surrounded by the love of his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives, and friends. Those who knew him will remember his intelligence, calm demeanor, strength of character, generosity, and unwavering devotion to his family.

Guillermo Boggiano’s life stands as a testament to the truth that one’s circumstances at birth do not determine one’s destiny. Through faith, hard work, education, and perseverance, he built a remarkable life and left a legacy that will continue to inspire generations to come.

Today we bid farewell to an exceptional man whose story will live on in each of us. While we deeply mourn his passing and pray to the Lord for the rest of his soul, we celebrate an extraordinary life and give thanks for the privilege of having shared in his journey.

He is preceded in death by his wife Bethsy Cristina -Bichitina-, his grandson Stefan, his mother Ernestina, his father Joaquin, and his brothers and sisters. He is survived by his seven children: Luis Guillermo, Aymara, and husband Enrique, Jose Joaquin, and wife Elizabeth, Victor and wife Maria del Carmen, Rafael, Bethsy and husband Alfonso, Isabel and husband Rodrigo. His grandchildren: Luis Alejandro and wife Patricia, Michael, Gabriel and wife Morgan, Daniel and wife Christina, Alexander, Elizabeth and husband Leoncio, José Rafael and wife Delia, José Alejandro, Stephanie, Natalie, Juan Pablo, Guillermo, Fiorella, Alfonso, Daniel, Alejandro, Rodrigo and Matías. His great grandchildren Thiago, Olin, Enzo, Mia, Kai, and Cristina and many cherished relatives and friends, all of whom will forever honor his memory and continue to live according to the values he taught them.

May Guillermo rest in peace. His legacy of love, sacrifice, education, perseverance, and devotion to family will forever endure.
