Hazel M Heilmeier

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Hazel Forsht Heilmeier fondly known as Meme. Hazel was born in July of 1925 In Williamsburg, Pennsylvania to Charles and Dorothy Forsht. She later married the love of her life, William "Bill" Heilmeier. Hazel and Bill were married for 58 years. They had four children Gene, Ricky, Joe & Joni. Hazel was preceded In death by her parents, beloved husband, and two children Ricky and Joe Heilmeier. She is survived by her other two children Gene Moore (Curtis) and Joni Martin (Bill), 4 grand children Charlie Moore (Mystie), Eddie Lawrence (Briane), Genie Arnold (Michael), Jamie Gill (Jonathan) and great grandchildren Tony Arnold, Cayla Moore, Chandler Moore, Jonathan Gill, Jackson Gill, and Porter Lawrence.

Hazel loved the Lord and often shared about his goodness with others. She enjoyed spending time with family, playing card games, doing word searches, and putting together puzzles. She loved her pets like they were family and was known for her homemade ham pot pie and Christmas cookies.

In lieu of flowers, a donation Is requested In her honor to the American Diabetes Association.
