Slagg, Helen Bednarczy, 96, of Monessen, PA passed away on Friday, September 5th in Tampa Florida. Helen moved here in 2001 from Willingboro, NJ. She worked as a long distance telephone operator in NYC before becoming a homemaker and mother. She enjoyed gardening and nature. She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph Slagg, a veteran of WWII and her 8 brothers and sisters. Helen is survived by her loving son Nicholas J. Slagg, her daughter-in-law Pamela L. Slagg and her grandchildren, Jeffrey Slagg of New York and Elizabeth Hernandez of Tampa. A memorial viewing will be held at Blount & Curry, South Tampa between 5-7:00 PM Sunday September 7th. Burial will take place at Doyle Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Helen’s name to The Home Association. Tampa FL 33605.
