Hoa Ngoc Bui

Hoa Ngoc Bui passed away unexpectedly in the Moffitt ICU on June 3rd at 7:45 PM in Tampa, Florida, at the age of 61, after a courageous 3.5-year battle with stage 4 NSCLC lung cancer. He is survived by his devoted wife, Suong Nguyen, and his beloved children, Vi Bui and Khanh Bui. Hoa was born on March 28, 1963, in Qui Nhon, Vietnam. He married the love of his life, Suong Nguyen, in 1987. After moving to Tampa, Florida, he began a dedicated career with Compulink for 20 years.

Hoa was a beautiful, selfless and thoughtful soul who poured his heart into caring for his family. He found joy in simple pleasures, such as walking on the beach, gardening, shopping, and playing with his cherished dog, Porkchop. Hoa radiated kindness and warmth, touching everyone he met with his gentle presence. His absence leaves a profound void, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A visitation for Hoa will be held Friday, June 14, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Blount & Curry Life Event Center, 605 S MacDill Ave, Tampa, FL 33609, followed by a funeral service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
