

Hue Pham Singletary (aka Mom, Baba, Nam, Aunt, Dì, and Chi), 65, born September 9, 1951, joined her beloved husband and daughter on February 12, 2017. She was born in Nhon My, An Nhon, Binh Dinh, Vietnam and lived in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia before settling in Tampa. She is preceded in death by her parents, Pham Minh and Nguyen Thi Chut, her husband, Calvin Edward Singletary, Jr., and her daughter Rena Clare Singletary. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter Simone Singletary Kenyon (Jerome George Kenyon, Jr.) of Jacksonville, her adored grandchildren, Calvin Singletary Kenyon, Scarlett Simone Kenyon and Jerome George Kenyon, III, who were the loves of her life, many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends she called sisters and brothers.
Being a hairdresser brought her much happiness as her co-workers and clients were her second family. Her greatest joy was taking care of those she loved. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, and spending time with her grandchildren. Her big beaming smile, contagious laughter, twinkling eyes, huge heart and famous spring rolls will be forever remembered and deeply missed.
The visitation is from 10am-12pm, Saturday, March 4th at Gonzalez Funeral Home, 7209 North Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa. A memorial service will follow at 12pm.
