Humberto Angulo

Lakeland—Humberto Angulo, age 79, died Wednesday at home in the arms of his wife of 53 years after a long battle with a heart condition. Mr. Angulo is survived by his wife Ruth, 3 children, David Angulo, Alejandro Angulo, and Amparo Valencia-Angulo. He also leaves behind 8 grandchildren, Dillan, Dallas, Justice, Jacob, Jasmine, Marven, Andrea, and Yvonne, and 2 great-grandchildren, Reign and Roman, 2 daughter-in-laws, Stacey Angulo and Amanda Angulo, and 8 siblings, Oscar, Maria-Teresa, Daniel, Maria, Gloria, Luz, Pedronel, and Judy.

Humberto immigrated to the United States from his home country of Colombia in 1978 and became a US Citizen in 1984. He and his wife immigrated with their children to Chicago and settled in Bensenville, where they raised their children, and often times worked two or three jobs to build a good life for their family. Humberto was passionate about his faith, and about helping others-especially his family-which was evidenced by the 11 family members that he also helped to bring from Colombia for a better life. He loved his children and grandchildren fiercely and imparted his faith in the Lord to his family and everyone he met. He loved gardening and worked outside almost every day, successfully cultivating over an acre full of fruit trees and beautiful flowers. Humberto will be missed by all, but is at peace now with his Lord and Savior. Services will be held Wednesday, March 12th at 11:30 am at Gonzalez Funeral Home at 7209 N Dale Mabry Hwy Tampa, FL 33614.

Humberto emigró a los Estados Unidos desde su país natal, Colombia, en 1978 y se convirtió en ciudadano estadounidense en 1984. Él y su esposa emigraron con sus hijos a Chicago y se establecieron en Bensenville, donde criaron a sus hijos y, a menudo, trabajaron en dos o tres empleos para construir una buena vida para su familia. Humberto era un apasionado de su fe y de ayudar a los demás, especialmente a su familia, como lo demuestran los 11 miembros de su familia a los que también ayudó a traer de Colombia para una vida mejor. Amaba a sus hijos y nietos con fervor e impartió su fe en el Señor a su familia y a todos los que conocía. Le encantaba la jardinería y trabajaba al aire libre casi todos los días, cultivando con éxito más de un acre lleno de árboles frutales y hermosas flores. Todos extrañaremos a Humberto, pero ahora está en paz con su Señor y Salvador. Los servicios se llevarán a cabo el miércoles 12 de marzo a las once y media en la funeraria Gonzalez Funeral Home en 7209 N Dale Mabry Hwy Tampa, FL 33614.
