Iliana graduated from Jefferson High School in 1961 and later received her cosmetology degree from Brewster Beauty School. On August 22, 1965, she married the love of her life and forever soulmate, Joe Villa Jr., with whom she shared a lifetime of love and devotion.
Iliana began her career as a beautician at Flora’s Beauty Shop before eventually working out of her own home. Later in life, she chose a new path and joined the Hillsborough County School System as a bilingual aide, a role she deeply cherished as she loved working with children. After retiring from the school system, she continued to stay active by working alongside her children at Mr. Empanada in South Tampa.
Family and friends were Iliana’s greatest passion. She loved creating beauty wherever she could, whether through making wedding flowers, designing costumes, or crafting decorations for themed parties. Her creativity, warmth, and dedication to those she loved will be remembered always.
Iliana is survived by her loving husband, Joe Villa Jr.; her sons, Joe V. Villa and wife Missy, and Alan M. Villa and wife Jennifer; and her daughter, Joalyn V. Davis and husband Lassier. She is also survived by her grandchildren Brittany Villa and wife Amber, Joey Villa and wife Vicky, Tristin Pena and husband Justin, Nickalaus Alonso and wife Rachel, Cassidy V. Diaz and husband Andrew, Alan Villa Jr. and partner Jessica, Tyler Alonso, Jake Villa, Blake Davis, and Braxton Davis. Her legacy continues through her great grandchildren Noah Villa-Wright, Knox Villa-Wright, Apollo Pena, Preston Pena, Luca Villa, Easton Alonso, Atlas Alonso, Miles Villa, and Sebastian Villa.
